Abortion is the real enemy of the black community

On Wednesday, several black right civil rights groups gathered in Durham, North Carolina to protest the release of new malt liquor beverage, they say is being targeted at the black community.

The 23-ounce drink known as ‘Blast’ which is made by Pabst Brewing Company, comes in four different fruit flavors and carries with it a 12 percent alcohol content. One can of ‘Blast’ is equivalent to about five beers.

Minister Paul Scott with the Messianic Afrikan Nation said: “They push this poison, this genocide in the black community, and then they act, then they don't want to talk to us. They're a bunch of cowards. They ain't putting this in the white community. They're putting it in the black community. Every store in the hood, that's where they're putting this poison.”

While alcohol abuse is a problem for every community, if anything can be considered a    “genocide” within the black community…it is unquestionably abortion.

Fortunately, there are a few people who get it.

In 2010, the pro-life group, Georgia Right to Life began sponsoring billboards which proclaim black children to be an “endangered species.” The billboards illustrate what many of us have believed for years…Abortion on demand was begun to eliminate black babies.

In April 2008, a group of black pastors held a vigil outside of a Washington D.C. Planned Parenthood clinic. They did so to protest what they characterized as “murder” being carried out against black babies.

An angry Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, of Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny said: “Every day … over 1,500 black babies are murdered inside the black woman’s womb. This is a race issue.”

In addition to beginning a campaign to educate the public about the toll which abortion is taking on the black community, the pastors have asked Congress to audit Planned Parenthood.

During Fiscal Year 2008, Planned Parenthood received a total of $300 million in government contracts and grants.

According to a report by the group Students for Life America, black women are 4.8 times more likely to have an abortion than are their white counterparts. Black women make up 36 percent of those receiving abortions, while black children make up only 17 percent of live births.

In a press release, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND Action) said the NAACP has made "false allegations of 'racism' against the Tea Party movement," has supported failing schools and teachers unions in opposition to black parents, especially in Harlem, where the organization filed suit along with the United Federation of Teachers to stop 22 school closings and the expansion of 20 charter schools, has "remained silent while black thugs attack white Americans and commit crimes in flash mobs across the country," and "supports black genocide" as an ally of Planned Parenthood. "The NAACP is set up as a non-profit organization with the pretense of helping black people get themselves together, but I can clearly see that the NAACP is a political pawn for the liberal elite white racist Democratic party and they are using black Americans for their own personal gain," said Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of BOND Action.
