Jacques delivers NH 11th straight Maple Sugar win

&Ldquo; Can't say enough good things about Max,” New Hampshire coach Chris Childs said. “At halftime the kids said, 'Let's pound the rock, coach.' That's what our attitude was in the second half. You could see late in the third quarter that their defensive linemen were starting to hang their heads. They were starting to get worn down.” You are fully responsible for the content you post. PLYMOUTH, N.H.- Plymouth State University has selected an extraordinary leader as vice president for university advancement.

“She has a deep and extensive knowledge of philanthropy that will serve the University well as we move forward,” said PSU President Sara Jayne Steen. “Everyone who knows her recognizes her commitment to excellence, community, and collaboration, and colleagues speak of her strong relationships and her dedication to education.”

One of the many aspects of PSU that excited Holland is President Steen’s vision for the University and her commitment to student financial aid and support of the faculty and staff.

“I believe in the power of higher education to transform lives and the role of public higher education in serving students and communities,” Holland said.

A native New Englander and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Holland is also eager to return to New Hampshire.

Most recently the senior director of development for colleges and programs at the University of Delaware, Holland has served schools, colleges and universities across New England. She also has served as independent fundraising counsel for numerous clients, providing advice to presidents and advancement leaders on fundraising planning and on board and constituency development.

“Both ALLWell and the Museum of the White Mountains will allow PSU to make wonderful contributions to teaching, scholarship and the region,” said Steen. “We look forward to Sally’s leadership in making the campus’s plans into reality.”

Holland began her duties August 1.

At the University of Delaware, Holland was responsible for directing major and principal gifts for the university’s seven colleges. During her time, fundraising for the colleges doubled to $26 million. She also managed a campaign to support an Integrated Science and Engineering Laboratory and secured numerous other gifts and pledges, including a $500,000 scholarship endowment.

She began her career on the University of New Hampshire’s campaign staff, where she was responsible for regional campaigns in Massachusetts and California. She also served UNH as interim director for the corporate and foundation program and as coordinator for of the leadership gifts program for individuals, foundations and corporations. Later, she helped both the Northfield Mount Hermon School and the Williston Northampton School exceed their capital campaign goals.
